This spiritually vibrant site is a center of faith for millions in the surrounding areas.
Would you like to be connected with the temple and contribute your services to its activities? If so, you can become a member of the Bhayharannath Dham Kshetriya Vikas Sansthan.
The temple is open every day for devotees to have Darshan of Mahadev from 5 AM to 9 PM. Morning Aarti is held at 5 AM during Brahma Muhurat, and Sandhya Aarti is held at 9 PM.
The Shiva Temple, Bhayharan Nath Dham, is rooted in the ancient traditions of Sanatan Dharma, embodying the timeless principles of devotion, righteousness, and the pursuit of spiritual enlightenment.
Lord Shiva, revered as the embodiment of strength, compassion, and protection, is worshipped here in the form of the Shivling. Known as Bhav Bhayharan Nath, He removes fears and obstacles from the lives of His devotees. Those who seek His blessings here are graced with prosperity, health, and wealth. The peaceful and sacred atmosphere of this temple offers devotees a deep sense of connection with Bhole Bhayharan Nath, filling their hearts with His boundless love and protection. Worshipping Shiva at this revered site brings immense spiritual fulfillment and divine blessings, making it a place of profound significance for all who visit.
The first samadhi is dedicated to Shri Naga Baba, the revered saint and the temple’s first priest, who was instrumental in its renovation. Brahmaleen Naga Baba, with support from the local community, played a key role in constructing the Bhav Bhayharan Nath Temple. His tireless efforts and spiritual leadership are deeply honored here, with many local legends celebrating his revered status among the people.
The second samadhi belongs to Dandi Swami Maheshwaranand Ji Maharaj, a devout and spiritually enlightened saint. The late Dandi Swami made significant contributions to the development and preservation of this Dham. He devoted his entire life to the service of Lord Bholenath, and his enduring legacy continues to be honored here, with the community deeply respecting his spiritual dedication and lifelong service.
The third samadhi, located in the temple courtyard in front of the Shri Radha Krishna Temple, is uniquely dedicated to a monkey. A tragic incident in Katra Gulab Singh market led to the death of a female monkey. During her funeral procession, the male monkey led the people to this Dham instead of the river bank. Understanding the significance, the community built a samadhi for her here, and later, a small temple was added, which is believed to have brought peace to the family involved.
For decades, a grand fair has been held at Baba Dham on Mahashivaratri, attracting millions of devotees.
Every Tuesday, thousands of worshippers gather to offer water and flags to the Shivalinga.
During the month of Shravan, the temple sees a surge of devotees performing Jalabhishek, with the Dham bustling with Kanwariyas and Shiva devotees.
The annual four-day Mahakal Mahotsav on Mahashivaratri and the Ghughuri Utsav on Nag Panchami have become long standing traditions, elevating the significance of Bhayharan Nath Dham to national and international levels. The Dham regularly hosts important figures from India and abroad during various events.
